MINUTES OF C.M.P. MEETING
C.M.P meeting, for the academic year 2011-12, was held at K.V. No. 3, Cantonment, Gandhinagar, on 18.11.11., under the guidance of Shri. Y.P. Singh, A.C., K.V.S., Ahd. Region.
Mr. Y.P. Singh set the mood of the meeting with the following valuable suggestions:
- That the teachers may use their discretion to alter the order of the lessons, in the text-book, if required, to make learning effective and dynamic. In doing so, it should be ensured that the same is uniformly applied in all the “Sections of the class”. Needless to mention that this exercise should be completed in the month of April. In this context, it was also suggested that attempts may be made to prepare Worksheets at Cluster-Level thus pooling the talents of all the Best Teachers of the Cluster.
- Mr. Y.P. Singh stressed that the focus of C.M.P. should be “Quality Learning” & to achieve the same, “Physical and Emotional” environment of the class should be conducive, encouraging and enjoyable. Contextually, he said that the use of Teaching Aids should not be to make it a “ritual”; instead, to make it “effective”. Language teaching, he added, should be primarily “Communication Skill” oriented, both in English & Hindi. And to promote “Extra Reading Habits”_ Timetable may be so designed that on the “same day-same time” all the classes have “Block Library Periods”.
- Mr. Y.P. Singh reminded the Principals & H.M.s to contribute to “CM.P. News Letter”, promptly, every month.
Annual features like the Celebration of Grandparents’ Day/ Childrens’ Day/ Community Lunch were discussed and ideas shared.
Cluster-Level Sports’ Meet & Cultural Programme was chalked out after collective deliberation.
